Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by DAUDÉ & MARTINS, UNIPESSOAL LDA, operating under the brand ProLavia.

By accepting a quotation or requesting services, the client agrees to these terms.

1. Company Information

Business activity: Professional cleaning and property services.

2. Scope of Services

ProLavia provides professional cleaning services including but not limited to:

  • Residential cleaning

  • Office cleaning

  • Guesthouse / hospitality cleaning

  • Deep cleaning

  • Move-in / move-out cleaning

  • Property inspections and related services

The exact services to be performed are defined in the accepted quotation.

3. Service Scheduling

Cleaning services are scheduled based on the frequency agreed in the quotation.

Typical arrangements include:

  • One-time service

  • Daily cleaning

  • Weekly cleaning

  • Bi-weekly cleaning

  • Monthly cleaning

  • Custom arrangements

Clients must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time.

4. Access to Property

Clients are responsible for providing access to the premises.

This may include:

  • keys

  • concierge access

  • security codes

ProLavia cannot be held responsible for delays caused by lack of access.

If cleaners cannot enter the property at the scheduled time, the visit may be charged as a completed service.

5. Cancellation Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least:

24 hours notice

Late cancellations may incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

No-show appointments may be charged in full.

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • bank transfer

  • MB Way

  • Multibanco

  • card payment (where available)

Invoices are issued in accordance with Portuguese tax regulations and transmitted to the

Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira.

7. Pricing

Prices are defined in the quotation and may depend on:

  • property size

  • condition

  • frequency of cleaning

  • additional services requested

Additional services requested during the visit may incur additional charges.

8. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

ProLavia normally provides basic professional cleaning equipment and products. Extra fee may apply. 

Clients may request the use of specific products supplied by the client, but ProLavia cannot guarantee results when using non-standard products. 

9. Damage and Liability

ProLavia takes great care when providing services.

Any damage caused during cleaning must be reported within:

24 hours of service completion

Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of damaged items when responsibility is clearly established.

ProLavia is not responsible for:

  • pre-existing damage

  • normal wear and tear

  • fragile items not properly secured.

10. Health and Safety

Clients must inform ProLavia of:

  • hazardous materials

  • unsafe conditions

  • pets that may pose risks

Cleaners may refuse to perform services in unsafe environments.

11. Recurring Services

For recurring cleaning arrangements, either party may terminate the service with:

30 days written notice

12. Data Protection

Client information is used solely for service delivery, invoicing, and communication.

ProLavia processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Portuguese courts.

Acceptance of a quotation constitutes acceptance of ProLavia’s Terms and Conditions.
